Since its inception, CeRID has been engaged in research, development and humanitarian programs, community capacity building, climate change mitigation and adaptation, peace and dialogue, and gender equity. Some of the successful research studies conducted by CeRID or planned for implementation include:

• Cross border Community Resilience (2022, Chemonics/BHA) -HOA -- Started.
• Seeds Value Chain and Business Model Study (2022, Swiss Development Cooperation) -- HOA -- On completion.
• Conflict Analysis of Mandera Triangle (2016/2017, Kenya, Ethiopia, Somalia, IGAD-CEWARN) -HOA -- Completed.
• Support to Crop Pest Surveillance Management (2016, FAO) -- Somalia -- Completed.
• Value Chain Analysis for the Sustainable Horticultural and Agricultural Value Chain Development for Recovery and Economic Progress (2016, NCA, ASEP) -- Completed.
